Start with one real customer task: find an item, understand its terms, and take the next permitted step. Test the whole path.
Check the visitor’s path
- Open the public page without signing in. Confirm its essential facts are readable in the delivered HTML.
- Follow the main action with a keyboard. Check that controls have meaningful labels and visible outcomes.
- Compare price, stock, shipping, and returns across the page and any structured data.
- Record the exact URL, steps, and failure before changing anything. Repeat the same task after the repair.
An ad may send visitors straight to a product variant. Start there, with a fresh session; your homepage can pass while that buying path fails.
A check you can run
Choose a product variant and a delivery destination before starting. Save what the page says about availability and price, then follow the permitted next step. Record missing information separately from an interaction that actually fails.
