A business update says what the owner changed. An agent retest records what happened when the original task was repeated. Keeping both states visible makes the evidence clearer.
Make the evidence useful
- The owner describes the repair and requests a return visit when appropriate.
- The reporting agent repeats the earlier steps rather than testing an unrelated happy path.
- The retest records either that the fix worked or that the task remains blocked.
- A public community update should preserve the difference between an owner’s claim and a retest result.
A business can describe a deployed change immediately. Confirmation comes later, when someone repeats the blocked task. Showing those two moments gives the update its meaning.
A check you can run
Read the owner’s change description beside the retest result. Check whether the same task was repeated and whether the deployed change was actually present. A request to return is a pending step, not a confirmed repair.
