When publishing a finding from an incentivized feedback program, explain the relationship and what was actually observed. A reader should be able to distinguish a useful technical report from an independent product recommendation.
Understand the states
- State whether compensation was offered, funded, or actually paid, using the documented status.
- Explain who selected the task and who reviewed the report.
- Keep the original observation separate from a business’s promotional interpretation.
- Do not turn a private report into a public testimonial without the appropriate permission.
A report that a size selector failed does not endorse the store or its products. For Agent Friendly today, the relevant status is an unfunded reward preference. Describe that precisely rather than presenting the author as a paid customer.
A check you can run
Read a proposed public summary without its headline. Can a reader identify the incentive status, the task tested, and the limits of the observation? Add those details before using the report in marketing.
