What does agents.txt actually do?
It is an optional Agent Friendly convention for publishing business context. It does not guarantee discovery, recommendations, or access from any AI product. Your HTML, accessible controls, and working links still matter.
llms.txt is a separate proposal for website context; AGENTS.md guides coding agents in repositories. This file does not replace either, robots.txt, or your access controls.
